My story

  • Joined SDG Group as a Backend Developer
Started working as a backend developer at SDG Group, building solutions with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), generative AI, and cloud-native architectures on AWS. Gained hands-on experience deploying and orchestrating services with Kubernetes.

  • Last semester of my master's degree working on ENEA Casaccia (Rome)
I worked on a project on measuring energy and emissions of Large Language Models running on HPCs. This project was a collaboration between the italian agency ENEA, Leeds Beckett University and University Politehnica of Bucharest. On my personal time I worked on two personal projects: fix-pc-guide and meetings app.

  • Third semester of my master's degree at Luleå tekniska universitet
Continuing with my program, I moved to the north of Sweden, to Skellefteå. I had classes that increased my understanding on cloud computing and wireless networks. I also achieved my first Azure certification: AZ-305, and I did my first cloud project: Cloud Buildings.

  • Second semester of my master's degree at Leeds Beckett University
I continued my master's studies in Leeds, UK, where I improved my knowledge in statistics and data analysis. During this period, I also worked on a personal project, LoRa GeoNet, and I obtained 2 cloud certifications: AWS Cloud Practicioner and AWS Developer Associate.

  • First semester of my master's degree at Université de Lorraine
I was accepted into the program "Green Networking and Cloud Computing", an international 2-year master, which I decided to join. My first semester was in Nancy, France, where I learned about managing Cisco switches and routers, as well as how to develop using NodeRED. Additionally, I learned some french.

  • End of degree at University Santiago de Compostela
I achieved my university degree by presenting my final project: a real-time system based on LiDAR data processed by an heterogeneous device (FPGA).

  • Internship at FDS (DXC)
I joined FDS in an internship program for 4 months, where I participated in a group working a proof of concept of a person-tracker (using Yolov4 and tensorflow) as well as improving the development of a webpage that measured carbon emissions (using aranet sensors) and sent the information to a system (with Kafka as the middleware and Clickhouse as the database) and showed the information on a centralised Flask webpage.

  • Start of studies at University Santiago de Compostela
I started my studies of Computer Engineering in the university close to my home, Santiago.
